It's me. Ryan McBurney, founder and the only person here. This is the story.

Where I'm from

I was born and raised in the Arizona desert. This is home, and it's who I build for.

Since 2018

I found Breathwork in the middle of an existential crisis, when I'd lost my sense of meaning. It gave that back to me, so in 2018 I started Liquid Breathwork to give other people the same thing.

It's a hard niche. The pay isn't great and there's no shortcut. I wore every hat: sales, content, the website, the books, the teaching. It was humbling, and it taught me more about business than anything else could have.

The AI turning point

Liquid Breathwork's website barely existed to Google. In its worst month it got 17 clicks.Google Search Console, Feb 2026.

Then I got serious about AI. It made me roughly 10x more productive. Work that took months now takes days or weeks.

Human first

I use AI to get more done. I won't use it to mass-produce generic content that could be anyone's.

People buy from owners they feel connected to. My work has to sound like me, and my clients' work has to sound like them.

So at Sonoran Intelligence I bring AI in where it helps and leave the human part alone.
